Tallahassee Florida, home to The Florida State University, is located in the panhandle of north Florida, halfway between Pensacola and Jacksonville. Getting Here:
PLANES – Yes, we have a regional airport (“TLH”) with daily flights to several larger cities such as Washington DC, Charlotte, and Atlanta. The airlines servicing Tallahassee are American Airlines, Delta, US Air, and United Airlines. Florida State University will reimburse air travel expenses for the two competitors plus one faculty coach per university or college, provided the reservation is booked at least 21 days in advance, all seats are in economy / coach, and the departure & arrival cities are the same. (If your team is flying from or to any other city than your home airport, please notify us in advance.) The preferred hotel, Four Points Sheraton Downtown, offers complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport. Just give them a call to schedule your pickup: (850) 422-0071.

AUTOMOBILES -We’re an easy car ride away from several larger cities, including Jacksonville, Atlanta, and Orlando. Check MapQuest for more detailed driving instructions. The address of the preferred hotel is listed below. Parking is available at the hotel; there is no charge for self-parking. They also offer valet parking for a fee. If you choose to drive in vs fly, Florida State University will reimburse $.44 (cents) per mile, for one vehicle per university.

Hotel Accommodations – The preferred hotel for the competition weekend is Four Points Sheraton Downtown. We’ve negotiated a discounted rate of $109 per night, that’s a great deal for this brand new and wonderful hotel! Food – Beginning at the Welcome Reception Friday evening through the Awards Banquet Sunday evening, we’ll provide complimentary food throughout the weekend. We’re even planning on a super-fun Casino Night party on Saturday evening!
Getting around Town – The hotel offers complimentary shuttle service to and from the Airport and to and from all competition events. They also have an electric car that they use to shuttle guests around Downtown. In addition, the ICSC will have a large van available to take guests to and from competition events and the Four Points Sheraton.
